ROVE MILES REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Rewards Program Terms & Conditions (the “Rewards Terms”) govern your participation in the Rove Miles Rewards Program (“Rewards Program”). By enrolling in or participating in the Rewards Program in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Rewards Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Rewards Terms, you must not participate in the Rewards Program.

These Rewards Program Terms & Conditions (the “Rewards Terms”) govern your participation in the Rove Miles Rewards Program (“Rewards Program”). By enrolling in or participating in the Rewards Program in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Rewards Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Rewards Terms, you must not participate in the Rewards Program.

1. INTRODUCTION & AGREEMENT TO TERMS

1.1 Scope of Rewards Program

These Rewards Terms apply exclusively to the Rove Miles Rewards Program. They do not replace or supersede the general Platform Terms of Use governing your use of the Rove Miles platform, nor do they address data privacy issues, which are covered separately by our Privacy Policy.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in, earning, accruing, or redeeming Rove Miles, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Rewards Terms, including any additional terms and conditions incorporated herein by reference.

1.3 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to participate in the Rewards Program.
  • You must maintain an active Rove Miles account in good standing.

1.4 Right to Modify, Suspend, or Terminate

Rove Miles (“Rove,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Rewards Program and/or the Rove Miles Rewards Currency (“Miles”), in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason. We will endeavor to provide notice of any material changes, but we make no guarantees regarding the nature or amount of notice provided.

2. EARNING ROVE MILES

2.1 Earning Methods

You may earn Rove Miles (“Miles”) through various methods, including but not limited to:

  • Qualifying purchases using a Rove product or partnered product.
  • Points transfers from a partner rewards program or other loyalty program.
  • Bookings made through Rove’s travel portal or travel partners (e.g., flights, hotels, rental cars).
  • Shopping including on Rove’s online shopping portal, through opt-in card-linked offers, browser extensions, promotional offers, partner incentives, and special campaigns organized by Rove.
  • Other methods introduced by Rove from time to time at our sole discretion.

2.2 Eligibility of Transactions

Not all transactions qualify for earning Miles. For instance:

  • Refunded purchases, chargebacks, or transactions deemed fraudulent by Rove or its partners are ineligible for earning Miles.
  • Additional earning restrictions or limitations may apply based on specific promotional terms or partner agreements, such as partners with exclusions on certain merchants, products, and categories.

2.3 Audits and Adjustments

Rove reserves the right to audit any Miles accrued and to revoke or adjust Miles in the event of errors, suspected fraud, or abuse of the Rewards Program. Any Miles erroneously credited to your account may be deducted at our discretion without notice or liability.

2.4 Negative Miles Balance

If, for any reason, your account reflects a negative Miles balance, Rove reserves the right to bill you for the value of the negative balance at a rate of $0.02 per Mile. In addition, where permitted by applicable law, Rove may also charge interest on the outstanding negative balance at a rate of two percent (2%) per annum, or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower. You agree to pay any invoiced amount within the time period stated on the invoice.

3. REDEEMING ROVE MILES

3.1 Redemption Options

You may redeem your Miles for:

  • Flights, hotels, and other eligible travel services offered through the Rove platform.
  • Additional products or services that Rove may introduce in the future.

3.2 Dynamic Pricing

Rove Miles utilizes dynamic pricing, which means the required Miles for flights, hotels, or other services may change at any time, based on various factors (e.g., demand, partner availability). Rove does not guarantee a fixed redemption or monetary value for Rove Miles, and reserves the right to adjust redemption rates without prior notice.

3.3 Redemption Rules

  • Minimum Redemption Requirements: Certain redemption options may require a minimum balance of Miles.
  • Blackout Dates: Rove does not impose blackout dates; however, availability may be subject to the policies of partner airlines, hotels, and other travel providers.
  • Finality of Redemptions: All redemptions and transfers of Miles are final, non-refundable, and non-reversible once confirmed.
  • Taxes & Fees: You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or surcharges that may apply to your redemption, including any charges imposed by third-party providers.
  • Refunds: Bookings labeled as “non-refundable” are not refundable under any circumstances and cannot be charged back or reversed.

3.4 Chargebacks

As Rove is not an airline or hotel operator, no chargebacks are permitted for travel services booked through Rove. All refunds for dissatisfaction or service issues are at the discretion of the relevant airline or hotel. If a refund is granted after Miles have already been credited and spent, those Miles will be deducted from the refund at a rate of $0.02 per Mile. If the Miles remain unused, they will simply be removed from your account.

3.5 Availability & Limitations

Redemption availability depends on third-party partners’ offerings and may vary. Rove makes no guarantee regarding the continued availability of any particular flight, hotel, or service for redemption.

4. EXPIRATION & ACCOUNT ACTIVITY

4.1 No Expiration

Rove Miles do not currently expire based on account inactivity. You may maintain your Miles indefinitely, provided your account remains in good standing and you comply with these Rewards Terms.

4.2 Forfeiture of Miles

Notwithstanding the absence of an expiration policy, Rove reserves the right to forfeit Miles if:

  • Your account is terminated or suspended for violations of these Rewards Terms or other applicable agreements.
  • We determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity.

5. TRANSFERABILITY & RESTRICTIONS

5.1 Non-Transferable

Miles are non-transferable and intended solely for the individual who earned them. You may not gift, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Miles to any other account or individual.

5.2 Prohibited Transactions

  • You may not engage in any transactions or behavior designed to circumvent the non-transferability of Miles, such as creating multiple accounts or using a third-party intermediary.
  • Any attempt to sell, trade, or exchange Miles for cash or other consideration is strictly prohibited.

5.3 Violation Consequences

If Rove determines you have violated this section, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to revoking Miles, suspending your account, or terminating your participation in the Rewards Program.

6. FRAUD PREVENTION & MISUSE

6.1 Fraudulent & Abusive Activity

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Artificially inflating Miles accrual through fake or orchestrated transactions.
  • Engaging in “manufactured spending” or artificially inflating transaction amounts (e.g., repeated or abnormally large purchases intended solely to generate Rove Miles).
  • Exploiting loopholes, hacks, or system errors to earn or redeem Miles.
  • Defrauding or misrepresenting transactions to Rove or any of its partners in an attempt to accrue additional Miles beyond what is legitimately earned.
  • Misrepresenting information or falsifying documents in connection with the Rewards Program.

6.2 Right to Revoke & Terminate

If Rove, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, we reserve the right to:

  • Revoke or adjust any fraudulently earned Miles.
  • Restrict or terminate your access to the Rewards Program and/or the Rove platform.
  • Pursue legal remedies available under applicable law.

7. PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS & TERMINATION

7.1 Modifications

Rove reserves the right to change any aspect of the Rewards Program at any time, including but not limited to:

  • Earning rates, promotions, and partner offerings;
  • Redemption values and the cost in Miles for specific rewards;
  • Program tiers, rules, or eligibility criteria;
  • Add or remove transfer partners for transfer of Miles;
  • Adjust or discontinue transfer ratios or bonuses;
  • Add or remove partners or merchants.

7.2 Program Termination

We may suspend or terminate the Rewards Program at any time without liability to you. In the event of termination, we may—but are not obligated to—provide a final redemption period for you to use remaining Miles.

7.3 Notice of Changes

Where feasible, we will provide advance notice of material changes or termination via email or postings on our website. However, we make no guarantee regarding the nature or the amount of notice provided.

8. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

8.1 No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Rewards Program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8.2 Program Availability & Value

While we strive to keep the Rewards Program available and accessible, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times. Circumstances beyond our control may occasionally impact your ability to earn, track, or redeem Rove Miles, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue certain program features with or without notice. Redemption rates and partner offerings may change at any time, and Rove is not liable for any perceived “devaluation” of Miles or loss of potential benefits.

8.3 Third-Party Services

Rove is not responsible for:

  • Errors in pricing or availability from airline, hotel, or other travel partners.
  • Losses resulting from travel disruptions, schedule changes, or cancellations by third-party providers.
  • Actions, omissions, or policies of any partner or third-party service provider.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rove’s total liability for all claims related to the Rewards Program shall not exceed the total fees you have actually paid to Rove in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or $100, whichever is greater. Rove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1 Governing Law

These Rewards Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

9.2 Mandatory Arbitration

All disputes arising out of or relating to these Rewards Terms or the Rewards Program shall be resolved by binding arbitration, administered by a recognized arbitration provider. You waive the right to a trial by jury and agree that arbitration is the sole remedy for any dispute.

9.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to bring any dispute on an individual basis, and you waive the right to participate in a class action or collective lawsuit of any kind.

9.4 Injunctive Relief

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Rove may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or prevent irreparable harm arising from a breach of these Rewards Terms.

10.2 Notices

Rove may send notices to you via your registered email address, postal mail, or by prominent postings on the Rove website or within your account dashboard.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By participating in the Rewards Program, you acknowledge that you have read these Rewards Terms, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Rewards Terms, you must not participate in the Rewards Program.

  1. ROVE DOES NOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY WITH ITS TRANSFER PARTNERS AND SIMPLY PROVIDES A TOOL FOR USERS TO SEARCH ON THEIR OWN.
  2. MILES TRANSFERS ARE USUALLY INSTANT BUT CAN TAKE UP TO ONE BUSINESS DAY TO PROCESS AND CANNOT BE REVERSED OR REFUNDED.
  3. ROVE PARTNERS WITH SELECT LOYALTY PROGRAMS FOR MILES TRANSFERS BUT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ALL AIRLINES FEATURED IN ITS DEALS.
  4. HOTEL EARN AND REDEMPTION RATES FLUCTUATE WITH DEMAND, WITH USERS POTENTIALLY EARNING UP TO 25X AND REDEEMING AT A RATE OF UP TO 2 CENTS PER MILE ON HOTEL BOOKINGS.
  5. ROVE’S CHROME EXTENSION HELPS USERS EARN MILES ON PURCHASES BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE MILES OR REWARDS FROM PARTNER MERCHANTS.
  6. ALL LOGOS AND TRADEMARKS FEATURED HEREIN ARE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS.
