How to Maximize Rove's 20% Transfer Bonuses

In case you missed it, last week Rove launched our very first transfer bonuses. With 20% bonuses to both Finnair Plus and Air France/KLM Flying Blue, you’ll now get more for your Rove Miles than ever.
But making sure you’re getting the best bang for your metaphorical buck is important, which is why we’re here. Here are our favorite ways to maximize Rove’s transfer bonus promotion.
Transfer Rove Miles With a 20% Bonus
Our transfer promotion has two levels:
- Air France/KLM Flying Blue: Get 20% more when transferring through October 22nd, 2025.
- Finnair Plus Avios: Get 20% more when transferring through December 31, 2025.

Both of these promotions are excellent, especially because Avios and Flying Blue are well-known for their sweet spots.
Maximize Your Rove Miles With Transfer Bonuses
Finnair Plus Avios
One of our favorite sweet spots for using Avios comes courtesy of Finnair’s award chart, which charges just 40,000 Avios one-way for first class flights within the United States.
Generally speaking, domestic first class isn’t something to write home about. Sure, you’ll get food and will enjoy more spacious seats, but that doesn’t count for much when you’re five hours into a flight.
But Oneworld partner American Airlines offers something called Flagship First class on select transcontinental routings. What does this mean? Lie-flat seats, first class lounge access, and hyper-premium service.
If you wanted to book these Flagship First flights using your American Airlines miles, you’ll pay quite a hefty cost:

Unlike American, however, Finnair doesn’t upcharge for these flights. You’ll still pay just 40,000 Avios for the chance to chug champagne in the sky. And with our transfer bonus, that drops to just 34,000 Rove Miles one-way!
Be aware, however, that Finnair’s search engine for partners is finicky; for best results, call in to book these awards.

Air France/KLM Flying Blue
Flying Blue is the combined loyalty program of both Air France and KLM, which makes it an excellent resource for anyone wanting to fly to Europe.
Although Flying Blue doesn’t publish an official award chart, it does have “saver-pricing” on flights, including the ability to fly to Europe in business class for as little as 60,000 miles.

This is true whether you’re flying from the East or West Coast; which is unique among many airlines, which tend to charge more for longer flights. By taking advantage of Rove’s transfer bonus, you’ll pay just 50,000 miles for your flight!
Another big win for Flying Blue comes courtesy of their monthly promo awards, which can save you 25% to 50% on tickets. These are updated at the beginning of each month and include both economy and business class fares.
For example, this month you can book premium economy from anywhere in Europe to Washington D.C. for 25% fewer miles, dropping your cost to just 30,000 miles.

And by leveraging Rove’s 20% transfer bonus, you’ll save even more, making your total cost just 25,000 miles for premium economy! That’s cheaper than you’ll find for economy class on any airline, anywhere.
The Bottom Line
We’ve just launched our very first transfer bonus promotions, which means you’ll get more value for your Rove Miles than ever before.
If this is something you’re interested in, be sure to transfer over your miles before these bonuses end. Flying Blue expires on October 22nd, 2025, while Finnair Plus Avios expires on December 31, 2025.
