How to Boost Your Rove Miles

If you’re booking travel anyway, you might as well make it work harder for you.
One of the easiest ways to accelerate your rewards on Rove is by boosting your miles when you book flights and hotels. With the right settings, you can earn up to 10x more Rove Miles on travel you were already planning. Let’s take a look at how Miles Boost works.
How to Earn Rove Miles
You’ll earn Rove Miles in three different ways, including online shopping, booking flights, and booking hotels. The amount you’ll earn will vary based on a variety of factors, including what you’re buying, the hotel you’re staying in, and whether or not you use miles boosting.
Generally speaking, here’s how many Rove Miles you can expect to earn when completing qualifying activities:
- Online shopping: Varies by merchant
- Hotels: Up to 25x Rove Miles per $1 spent
- Flights: Up to 10x Rove Miles per $1 spent
What is Miles Boosting?
You’ll always earn Rove Miles when booking flights or hotels with Rove, but sometimes you’d just like a little more, right? That’s why we introduced Miles Boost.
Originally available only on flights, we’ve now expanded the ability to boost your Rove Miles on eligible hotel bookings too. Depending on which option you pick, you can earn up to 10x more Rove Miles on your travel.
Boosting Your Hotels
We recently launched the ability to boost the Rove Miles you’ll earn on select hotel bookings. Applicable to Rove Rate stays, you’re now able to earn up to 10x more Rove Miles on each booking.
Boosting the number of miles you’ll earn is easy. To do so, you’ll simply search for the property you’d like, then start the checkout process. You’ll find the Miles Boost option on the second page of checkout.

In this example, you can see that your stay would normally earn you 31x Rove Miles per $1 spent. However, you can choose to boost your earnings up to 41x for an additional cost.
Plus, if you choose to make your hotel stay non-refundable, you’ll receive all your Rove Miles once you’ve paid for your reservation. This includes any Miles Boost that you’ve added on.
Be aware that Miles Boost doesn’t work on Loyalty Eligible hotel bookings. This is because the property itself is the merchant of record (MOR) for Loyalty Eligible bookings, not Rove, so we don’t handle the processing of charges.
Boosting Your Flights
Rove also allows you to boost the number of miles you’ll earn on flights. The process works much the same as it does with hotels.
Without boosting, you’d normally earn just 1x Rove Mile per $1 spent. However, during checkout you have the opportunity to boost up to 10x.

Note that these Rove Miles are in addition to whatever airline miles you’ll be earning.
The Bottom Line
Using Miles Boost is a great way to quickly increase the Rove Miles that you’re earning. While it’s previously been available on flight bookings, we’ve now added the option to boost your Rove Rate bookings too, letting you earn up to 10x more Rove Miles for every $1 spent.
